Baby Mine Store (BMS) is founded by three best friends: Jenny, Sara and Madison. We are parents of infants, toddlers and young children.
Baby Mine Store also celebrates the original launch of BMS by Jenny’s parents in 2000. We fondly remember visiting their BMS store and the colorful sun protection baby products and cute t-shirts. Jenny’s parents are world-class parents who have been sharing information and helping their peers, children, and friends for decades.
Jenny, Sara and I have been best friends since elementary school. We are kindred-spirit sisters. When we each went to college away from California, we promised that we would get together with each other at least once a year.
We’ve been keeping our promises since then – even though now we are married and have young children.
When my husband and I first become parents a year ago, Jenny’s folks (my God parents) flew in and helped me with baby Tia for two weeks. I love them! They showed the same love for Jenny when she had her first born five years ago. And, they took care of Sara the same when she had her first baby three years ago. They are always available to help Jenny, Sara and I to prepare for the arrival of our kids.
Jenny, Sara and I have become part of a larger group of parents in each of our communities – sharing tips about raising kids. Sara has the good fortune of having a local Pediatrician in her group.
Like most parents of younger children, we have done extensive research in choosing baby products, and continue to improving our parenting skills.
Launching this site is all about parents helping parents. We hope more can benefit from the research we have collectively done. Plus tips and guides we have learned from Jenny’s parents and our extended groups of parents.
Quoting Jenny’s folks, “We believe all parents strive to do what is best for their children.” To that profound statement, we want to add: if we can help other parents in that quest, we will have achieved our goal of helping us all be better and successful parents.
Ultimately it’s all about creating the best environment, safe and nurturing, for our kids. It’s a bonus when we can enjoy the journey along the way. As Jenny’s parents remind us:
