Guides to your baby's development, month by month.
1st Month Guide
The first month of your new baby’s life can be a trying time
for the parents, the new baby and anyone else in close proximity,
such as siblings or other relatives.
2nd Month Guide
Babies in the second month begin to look a lot more like small adults,
as opposed to wrinkly red newborns.
3rd Month Guide
During the third month, your baby will begin to appear less like
a newborn and more like a baby.
4th Month Guide
The fourth month of baby’s life is a new and exciting time
for parents. There are so many new experiences that seem to occur
almost daily that it can make any parent of a 4 month old baby want
to spend every waking minute just watching for new developments.
5th Month Guide
The fifth month is an incredible time for both babies and parents
6th Month Guide
The sixth month brings with it many new accomplishments for baby
and a lot of fun new stuff for parents.
7th Month Guide
The seventh month is often a very fun month for parents and babies;
possibly even more so that the previous couple of months.
8th Month Guide
You are probably even busier this month than you were before, especially
if your baby has become mobile in some way or another.
9th Month Guide
The ninth month is often a landmark month. This is because, by now,
your baby has likely achieved some defining moments. This includes
growing teeth, crawling, sitting up, pulling up, and possibly standing
or walking on his own.
10th Month Guide
There is much fun to be had during the tenth month of babyhood,
for both parents and babies.
11th
Month Guide
While the eleventh month may not be a lot different for you and
your baby than the tenth, it could be as different as night and
day.
12th Month
Guide
This month, the last month of baby’s first year, is a lot
of fun for everyone involved. It can be a lot more work than in
the past, but it is worth it when you see your baby doing all kinds
of new things on a regular basis.
13th
to 16th Month Guide
After your baby turns a year old, there are many changes that can
take place. From the 13th month, through the 16th month, your baby
can learn a variety of new skills and abilities, as well as experience
many physical changes.
17th
to 20th Month Guide
During months 17-20, you will be able to see many changes within
your baby. It is likely that your little one will be able to communicate
very well with you at this point, and you will be able to see your
baby’s personality through his everyday actions.
21st
to 24th Month Guide
These last few months of your baby’s first year are often
filled with excitement as well as frustration. Your baby will still
be learning new things almost daily, and with these new things comes
a very strong independence streak.
